"What separates good contractors from great ones is commitment to detail. As one who has spent his whole career in and around the construction industry, I know when I see commitment from a contractor.
Your commitment to detail started by showing up on time for the pre-bid walkthrough. You also pointed out several things that Showcase does that other companies might not. You walked me through the bid process with a full inspection of the roof area to be replaced, as well as an inspection of the interior attic area. You wanted to be sure that there wouldn't be any surprises due to water damaged plywood under the existing shingles.
While your number was not the lowest bid that I received, it was well within what I thought the job would cost, and only a small percentage higher. When you factor in all of the extra items Showcase pays attention to, and the 7 year warranty, the numbers were probably equal. And while money is a factor in choosing a contractor, I also look at value and quality, Showcase provides both.
Finally and most importantly, the crew showed up on time- and the work was completed on time. You had on site supervision, as promised. The crew did a good job protecting the property and cleaning up after the roof was installed.

I wanted to let you know how wonderful my experience was with your company and your employees. I was in the process of doing some exterior renovations to my home and had been hunting for qualified subcontractors. Various subs had come out to give me bids on what I requested. The dollar spread amongst the four subs was like night and day for the same service and similar product. However, when Jack Kamerer walked into my home I knew immediately this was the company I was going to use. Jack was not only knowledgeable but didn't try to pressure me to make a decision. He respected the fact that I had to do my homework and assured me that if I chose your company he would make sure everything was done to my specifications.
I waited a couple of months before making my decision but Jack remembered me and we proceeded with setting up the contract. I was going on vacation and spoke to Jack and told him I would be away for a couple of weeks. He didn't think the siding material would arrive before I returned but low and behold when I returned from vacation I came home to a new house.

Our beautiful new roof was completed last week during the oppressive heat wave here in Maryland. We are extremely happy with the results and would like to commend Showcase Roofing for their professionalism - both during the estimate/contract process and the actual work. Jack Kammerer answered all of our questions and gave us the level of comfort we needed to feel that the work would be done right. This feeling was confirmed by the crew that showed up in the early morning to do the work. Martin kept us abreast of the work and showed us those areas of our roof that needed to be replaced to get our approval before he did anything. Jack's initial estimate was that the work would take a little over one day. Because of the incredible heat last week, it took three full days. By midday, temperatures on the roof were over 125 degrees. The crew had to take breaks in order to survive, but they worked as quickly as they could. When the work was completed, they cleaned up the yard and took all debris away.
As we stated earlier, we are extremely happy with the roof and would recommend Showcase Roofing to anyone needing a new roof.

"Getting a new roof is never a pleasant experience, but Ken and his crew made it as painless as possible. Price was in line with estimates from other contractors, but this company provided more. One other contractor simply wanted to put a new roof over the old one for $100.00 more than Ken's estimate. Ken was on time for our appointment. After scheduling the appointment for the work, merely one week after receiving the estimate I received a phone call reminder and a mailing with basic tips how to make the job move along smoothly.
